DJI Dock 3 — 24/7 Autonomous Remote Drone Operations
DJI Dock 3 is the next-generation drone-in-a-box solution from DJI — and DJI’s first dock built to deploy on a moving vehicle. Engineered for round-the-clock operations across the toughest environments, Dock 3 launches and recovers the new DJI Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD high-performance drones (sold separately), charges them from 15% to 95% in just 27 minutes, and streams every flight to DJI FlightHub 2 for fleet-scale, automated public safety, energy, inspection and mapping missions. IP56-rated, weatherproof from -30°C to 50°C, with 9 antennas of intelligent O4+ Enterprise transmission up to 25 km, lightning protection (AC 20 kA), a 12 Ah backup UPS and a built-in security camera array — Dock 3 is built to rise to any challenge.
Watch — Introducing DJI Dock 3
Master All Environments — IP56, -30°C to 50°C, 12 m/s Winds
Built for harsh, unattended deployment. With an IP56 protection rating, an operating temperature range from -30°C to 50°C, a maximum landing wind speed of 12 m/s and a max operating altitude of 4,500 m, Dock 3 is engineered to perform in the desert, on coastlines, in mountains and across industrial sites — without an operator on-site. Internal heating and a compressor-based air-conditioning system keep the drone bay within safe operating limits in any climate.
Vehicle-Mounted Deployment — A DJI First
For the first time, a DJI dock can be deployed on a moving vehicle. Patrol routes, mobile response units, mining haul roads, oil-and-gas service trucks — wherever the team goes, Dock 3 goes with them. A dedicated vehicle-mounted gimbal mount (IP55, -30°C to 50°C) keeps the system stable in transit, ready to launch on arrival. Drive in, deploy on site, recover the drone, drive out — the workflow that previously needed a fixed installation now runs from the back of a pickup.

Open the Cover, Ready to Fly
Open the dock cover and the drone is airborne in seconds. One-click takeoff, automated mission scheduling and an integrated wind-speed gauge, rainfall, ambient temperature and water-immersion sensors verify safe launch conditions every time. With 24/7 automatic relay hover, Dock 3 keeps continuous overwatch — one drone in the air, another charging at base, switching seamlessly.
Smart Tracking & AI Change Detection
Built-in AI follows people, vehicles and vessels in real time during search-and-rescue and patrol missions, with subject-locked smart tracking that keeps the camera framed on the target while the drone manoeuvres around obstacles. AI Change Detection compares before-and-after imagery on automated inspection routes to flag new defects, encroachments and anomalies — for crews to action without scrolling thousands of frames.
Ultra-Long Transmission — Up to 25 km, 20 MB/s
An advanced O4+ Enterprise video transmission system delivers a stable signal up to 25 km (FCC) and 20 MB/s downlink, with 9 built-in dock antennas and intelligent switching. Stream live HD video back to the operations centre and FlightHub 2 in parallel, with low-latency live broadcasting baked in. An optional DJI Cellular Dongle 2 adds 4G transmission for redundancy across the route, and the dock supports Ethernet and FlightHub 2 cloud connectivity in parallel.
Omnidirectional Obstacle Avoidance Radar
The Matrice 4 Obstacle Sensing Module combines rotating LiDAR and millimetre-wave radar — a 360° horizontal × 90° vertical detection envelope, with 100 m max detection range — for safe flight in built-up sites and at night. The aircraft adds omnidirectional binocular vision and a 3D infrared sensor on the underside for fine-grained, all-round obstacle sensing. Detects 12 mm steel-core power-line cables at up to 15 m/s of flight speed.
FlightHub 2 — Virtual Cockpit & Cloud Operations
Dock 3 is built around DJI FlightHub 2 — DJI’s cloud-based operations platform for live monitoring, virtual cockpit remote piloting, 3D mapping, fleet management, mission planning and team collaboration. Choose the public cloud version, FlightHub 2 On-Premises for air-gapped sites, or integrate via the DJI Cloud API. Pilots can also fly Dock 3 standalone with the DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise remote controller for ad-hoc missions.
High-Performance Matrice 4D / 4TD Drones
Dock 3 pairs with the new DJI Matrice 4D (three visual cameras with up to 112× hybrid zoom, lens defogging, integrated laser range finder up to 1,800 m) and DJI Matrice 4TD (visual + 640×512 thermal camera + NIR auxiliary light + laser range finder) — both with IP55 protection, up to 54 minutes flight time, 10 km operating radius, omnidirectional sensing and the same flight platform as the Matrice 4 Series. Smart Tracking, AI Detection, Power-Line Follow and one-click takeoff are all supported out of the box. Drones are sold separately.
